North Gwent and Powys Coaches Forum
The 2nd North Gwent and Powys Coaches Forum was held this week at Ebbw Vale RFC providing over 20 senior male and female club coaches with the opportunity to learn from highly respected Ebbw Vale Head Coach Jason Strange and former WRU Elite Performance Manager Mostyn Richards.The sessions provide an opportunity for coaches within the community game to network with each other, talk about the latest trends within the game and to discuss and reflect on their own coaching practise while developing their own leadership skills.
The forums will be held every 6 weeks with all senior club coaches within North Gwent and Powys able to attend.
Jason Strange commented , “A key part of our vision at Ebbw Vale RFC is to work closely with our local community clubs and help develop players, coaches and grow the game. This initiative is a way of allowing coaches from the area to develop themselves , share ideas and take these learnings back to their clubs. We are delighted with the response from a number of coaches who are keen to learn more about the coaching process and, as importantly, about themselves.”
